Last saturday was another thrilling day here in Norway. The national day of Norway was celebrated. Of course was our choir in midstream. But now from the beginning.
We met each other at 6.45 (!)in front of the Museum to sing the first time the national anthem. Afterwards we had a kickoff in the day with a few mouthful of "wholly ghost ;)". As it is tradition, went we straight after that to the choir room for the breakfest with Sirenene, the female choir of the university.
Then were we ready for the parade. This lasted 3 hours and was quite tiring. But we performed some funny gags during the parade. It was amazing to see all the norwegians in their traditional costumes. The city center was completely packed with people. I didn't know that so many people live in Bergen.
Then came the coolest part in my opinion: We performed in the middle of the city. And this 3 times. We had a huge audience listening to us and the success was great. Fantastic!
Next to these concerts went we home and got a bit of a rest. Because the main party was in front of us. Some of our choir organised a party in our choir room. We started at about 10.00 pm and the vibes were amazing. 3 choirs were invited and of course sang we a few songs. But mainly was it just a great party.
After that one of our choir, Ole Henrik, invited us for a nachspiel at his flat. 35 poeple were packed in this shared appartment but however the mood there was really cool. (It is said that the last one's left at 6.30)
The sunday was study time. But in the evening Loes and Sofie had a goodbye party. I just went there to say goodye. But because I gonna have my next exam at Friday I went to bed quite early.....
That was quite a sad moment because I now somehow realise that soon everything is gonna be over... :((
But first the exams!
So stay tuned....
